What is #iGiveCatholic?
#iGiveCatholic is a one-day online giving event for the faithful in arch/dioceses across the nation (and the world!) to come together and raise as many charitable dollars as possible for Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries on #GivingTuesday, November 28, 2017. Last year, #iGiveCatholic raised more than $1.8 Million dollars for participating arch/dioceses.
What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end of year giving.
What will the donations towards PJP benefit?
The monetary funds raised through the #iGiveCatholic program will go towards the purchasing of a digital marquee sign in front of the Pope John Paul II High School campus. Over the past 30 years, the marquee sign in front campus has been a benchmark to announce special events and popular activities that occur on our campus. With the purchase of a brand new digital marquee sign, PJP will be able to advertise every and all events that have to do with Pope John Paul II High School.
