Admissions Policy

Attention incoming 8th and 9th grade students:


If you are interested in attending Pope John Paul II HIgh School in the near future, please click on the "Checklist for New Students" link located below. 
Also, if you plan on participating in a sport at PJP, please click on the form below regarding the checklist for 7th and 8th grade students participating in LHSAA-sanctioned athletics. 




High School Application Process for Parents:


Please fill out the appropriate information regarding the Application Form (which can be found by clicking the link below), and PRINT OUT.



High School Application Process for Parents:


 - On published date the Admissions Application will be posted online ( and distributed by Catholic elementary school principals.
 - On the last line of this application form, identify the Pope John Paul II Catholic High School. Student may select only ONE high school.

 - Return the completed form to the Catholic elementary school principal or the high school by published due date. The Catholic elementary schools will send the application forms and the student records to Pope John Paul II.

 - Students in non-Catholic elementary schools are required to send forms and student records directly to Pope John Paul II by the published due date.

 - Students are required to attend Application Day at Pope John Paul II on the published Saturday in January, and may be required again on a later date for testing. A $20.00 onetime, non-refundable, non-transferable application fee will be collected from each student upon arrival at the high school. Application Day at all high schools will begin at 8 a.m.

 - Acceptance letters will be mailed to students in February.
