11/30/2005 Garrett Geraci (Student Council Vice President, Pope John Paul II High School in Slidell, LA) accepts a check from Robert Peel (National Honor Society president at Pope John Paul II High School in Hendersonville, TN). The Tennessee students raised funds at a football game and traveled to Slidell , LA to deliver the gift. Students present (left to right):

Pope John Paul II High School representatives from the Hendersonville , TN, Catholic school visited Pope John Paul, II High School in Slidell , La to bring donations collected during a recent football game in Tennessee to help students impacted by the Hurricanes.

11/30/2005 Richard Berkowitz ( PJP II Principal) and Jane Reynolds (Assistant Principal) unpack cases of school supplies donated by International Audio Visual, Inc. of Fort Lauderdale , FL. The school supplies were distributed to displaced students now attending PJP II and previously registered PJP II students that were affected by the Hurricanes.

11/20/2005 The Carmel school community in Carmel, NY held a “Walk-A-Thon” to raise money for students displaced by the storm. The temperatures were brisk but walkers from throughout the Carmel community came out to sign T-shirts and take a few laps for PJP.
