REGISTRATION AND TUITION

TUITION, FEES AND FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION AND POLICIES
2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR

NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE: $ 300.00 per student for returning students who register by February 11, 2011 and all new students. $ 350.00 per student for returning students who register after February 11, 2011. The fee is due with the course selection sheet or new registration form. It must be paid in full before financing can be negotiated, financial assistance forms can be accepted, or a student can be scheduled.

Returning students must have their 2010-2011 School Year tuition and fees paid in full before they will be scheduled for 2011-2012 School Year classes.

Registration payment is a reservation for a student in the upcoming school year based upon available space; entitlement to educational benefits begins on the first day of class, predicated on the student's possession of currently acceptable academic and discipline records.

TECHNOLOGY AND BUILDING USE FEE: $ 620.00 per student. It may be financed with the tuition or is due in August on Book Day.

DRUG TESTING FEE: $ 170 per student. It may be financed with the tuition or is due in August on Book Day.

SCHOOL TUITION: $ 6,450.00 per student.

THERE ARE ONLY TWO OPTIONS FOR PAYING TUITION
1. Tuition paid in two (2) payments to Pope John Paul II Catholic High
School. $ 4,000.00 paid by June 1st and the balance by Book Day in August.

2. Financing through First Bank and Trust which allows 10 monthly
payments beginning the first of July and ending with the April
payment. Financing can be done online or at one of their branch offices.

If the financing is cancelled for non-payment, it cannot be
reinstated and the balance becomes payable to Pope John Paul II
Catholic High School.

POPE JOHN PAUL II CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL POLICIES IN REGARD TO PAYMENTS

Once financing has been cancelled for non-payment, parents/legal guardians
are allowed four (4) working days in which to make arrangements, in
writing, to pay Pope John Paul II Catholic High School the unpaid
balance plus any late fees, cancellation fees and interest due to the school.
If arrangements are not made, the student will not be permitted to take exams until they are made.

2) When payment is made after the cancellation of a loan, only cash, a money
order, or a cashier's check will be accepted.

3) If a parent/legal guardian elects to pay Pope John Paul II Catholic High School
in two payments and fails to make payment by the above stated due dates, it will
be necessary that parents/legal guardians notify the school in writing that
payment will be late. If arrangements are not made in writing, the registration
can be cancelled and the registration fee will be forfeited. Parents/legal
guardians will be required to re-register and repay the registration fee.

4) Parents/legal guardians with two or more students at Pope John Paul II Catholic
High School will have their payments applied equally to each student.

5) Parents/legal guardians who desire special financial arrangements concerning
these policies must request, in writing, permission from the principal of Pope
John Paul II Catholic High School.

6) Students may not be permitted to take semester exams if their tuition and fees
payments are not current.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Financial assistance is available for students whose family can demonstrate financial need. Our goal is to make PJP financially affordable for all students that wish to attend. Parents should not let affordability be the only reason for not sending their student to PJP. Applications for financial assistance may be requested after a student has registered and the registration fee has been paid. Pope John Paul II Catholic High School does not give academic or athletic scholarships.

CLASS FEES:
Seniors.................................... $ 360
Juniors.................................... $ 210
Class fees may be financed or they are due in August on Book Day.

NSF CHECK POLICY

Once the bank returns any check for insufficient funds or account closed, the parents/legal guardians are allowed four (4) school days in which to pay Pope John Paul II Catholic High School the amount of the check plus bank charges. Payment must be made by cash, cashier's check or money order. We will then reserve the right to request all future financial obligations be paid by cash, cashier's check or money order. If payment is not made, the student may not be permitted to attend classes or other school activities until payment is made.
