About Us WHO WE ARE
COMMUNITY- We are 1 of 23 secondary schools fully certified by the Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans. We are a teaching community and teach as Jesus taught and teaches throughout the 2,000 year-history of His Church.
DOERS - Our patron is Pope John Paul II and like him, we open our arms to Catholics and members of other religious and ethnic backgrounds who seek a values-based education.
BELIEVERS – Our faculty believes that all subjects taught reflect God’s creation and are capable of revealing the Person of God to all who learn in this faith.
WHAT WE DO
PREPARE - We prepare the teenagers of today to become the adults of tomorrow through a demanding curriculum and community-building activities. 98% of our graduates continue on to a 4-year institution of higher learning.
REFINE - We help teenagers to establish and continue their faith development through our active Campus Ministry, Eucharistic Minister program, liturgical choir, on-campus chapel, and school-wide Masses.
EDUCATE - We educate the body, mind, and spirit as is attested to by our course of studies, comprehensive athletic program, daily prayers and frequent full-community liturgical celebrations.
PRODUCE - We produce competent, well-rounded individuals both academically and athletically. Over the past 30 years we have captured 13 state championships in baseball, cheerleading, golf, powerlifting and softball. Our graduates are active in various professions and business endeavors while serving their Church and community.

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS - Our student/teacher ratio is 15:1 enriching personal and professional academic relationships in a caring, challenging and totally safe environment.
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT - We recognize and reward achievements on all levels. who take ownership for learning and respecting individual differences and diversity.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - We keep tuition competitive with other private schools and offer need-based tuition assistance. Each year, PJP graduates earn millions of dollars in scholarships to institutions of higher learning.
TECHNOLOGY ADVANCEMENT - We employ the very latest educationally-centered technology, placing in the hands of students all the tools needed to pursue educational success in the 21st century and tailored to address individual learning needs.
