Through a Senior's Eyes What Pope John Paul II Catholic High School Means To Me... "Over the last four years I have learned what it means to be a part of a family outside of my own. The first year, coming into a totally new school environment was a challenge but I was not in it alone. Our namesake Blessed John Paul II said "Be not afraid!" I knew that God would guide me in the right direction in everything, if I simply trusted in Him. There is a strong sense of unity among the students of PJP, a unity that does not equate to any other high school in the area. The faculty and administration make time for the students, because the guidance and education of we the students is their highest priority! We are known on a first name basis and we pass each other in the hallways five, six, seven or more times each day, so everyone is familiar with each other. Each and every student, from registration day of freshman year all the way to their senior year is molded in becoming the leader he or she was called to be. Leadership does not come easy; however through the many gifts and talents of students combined, the community of PJP is filled with an unending strength and unity. Other than spending time with friends and making the most of every moment, what I have treasured most is the ability to lead the student body but to truly give of myself to serve them. It is a blessing. PJP is family, it is home and we are one."
