JAG FUND Q&A

Q: Why have an Annual Fund Drive?
A: Each year PJP invites financial leaders, parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents, businesses and friends to participate in the JAG Drive. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of the entire educational experience at PJP. The Annual Fund Drive is designed to help bridge the gap between tuition and expenses, which for 2011 - 2012 is $145,000, or approximately $460.00 per student. In addition, a balanced budget each year, plus increases in student enrollment, allow PJP to keep tuition increases to a minimum and further allows the school to afford more tuition assistance.

Q: What if I cannot financially participate?
A: PJP is inviting three gifts: Prayer, Involvement and Financial Participation. We invite everyone to consider all three. If it is not possible to give financially, that is fine. We also invite you to please consider what you can do with Prayer and Involvement. Above all, please turn in your Intention Card.

Q: How do I give and how much should I give?
A: You can make your gift through cash, check and enclose that with the Intention Card in the envelope provided. Or, you can send in a monthly payment that is indicated on the Intention Card. Because financial giving is a personal decision, we are inviting all to give generously at a level that is appropriate for them. There is no amount too small or too large. All gifts are greatly appreciated. Our goal is 100% participation.

Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
A: Yes. As opposed to paying tuition, all gifts to the JAG Drive are totally tax deductible. Every family who gives a gift by turning in their Intention Card helps to increase the participation rate in our Drive.

Q: Why is my participation so important?
A: With great participation, PJP will reach the gap of $145,000, and then money raised over that amount
will be able to go to the following:
    - Professional training for teachers
    - Tuition assistance for students
    - Library conversion to a full service media center
