Need-based financial assistance is available. The goal of our administration is to make Pope John Paul II High School financially affordable for all students that wish to attend.
Financial Assistance
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Families applying for
financial aid will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid
Assessment between March 20th - April 30th. Applicants can apply online by clicking the FACTS link at
https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/43YJP . Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to
FACTS to complete the application process:- Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms, including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
- Additional documents for business/rentals are listed on the FGAA Flyer – JP II
All supporting documentation can be uploaded in pdf or jpeg format online.
If you have questions or concerns about the application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at 866-441- 4637. There are help videos that an applicant can access from his/her Application Summary Screen by clicking on the blue Help button. FACTS will review/verify documents and make an independent recommendation.
The application packet is reviewed in full, along with the FACTS recommendation, by qualified independent consultants who make recommendations directly and confidentially to the Head of School.
Financial Assistance notifications are usually sent out by mid-June.IMPORTANT: Financial assistance must be applied for in the spring after registration PRIOR to the academic year in which you seek the assistance. If the deadline isn't met, you will not receive consideration as all available funds are already distributed.

Scholarships
There are various scholarship opportunities offered to PJP students, and most are NOT based on the student’s grades.
PJP Alumni Association Scholarships
Application Window:April 1st - April 25th
Qualifications:- Open to students of PJP alum. Students in ALL grade levels are eligible to apply, including those seniors registered to attend college in the fall as well as incoming new students.
- Students must submit a three paragraph response that answers the following questions:
- What do you want your legacy to be? How do you want people to remember you?
- What does having “school pride” mean to you? What are you most looking forward to this upcoming school year?
- What has been the toughest part of your academic journey so far? What are you doing and/or did to help overcome it?
- Three $250 scholarships will be drawn at random to all students that submit a writing.
- Writings must be submitted via email [email protected] or by dropping off to the front office no later than Friday, April 25th in order to be entered into the drawing.
Champions of Education
Application Window: February 5, 2025 – April 15, 2025
The program is open to families with school-aged children attending Catholic schools, in grades Kindergarten through 12th, within the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Timothy Satterlee Sr
Memorial Scholarship Fund Requirements
Timothy Satterlee Sr was the grandfather of Reese Satterlee 18’, Remi and Reilly Satterlee 22’. Mr. Satterlee was a very big part of the PJPII community and would not hesitate to lend a helping hand with any project that was asked of him. He volunteered much of his time getting the fields ready for baseball and football games, working the down marker for football games, and maintaining the scoreboard for baseball games. He loved watching his grandson, Reese, play baseball and football and his granddaughters, Remi and Reilly, dance and cheer. He was one of the founding fathers and proud member of our PJPIIMC. He will be missed and will always be a PJPII Jaguar.
Application Window: April 1st – April 25th
Qualifications:
- Open to all registered 9th graders for the 25-26 school year.
- Applicants must participate in 1 or more clubs, organizations, or sports.
- Applicants must submit a 3-paragraph essay answering the following questions:
“Why did you choose PJPII?”
“What club, organization, or sport do you participate in?”
“Why did you choose the club, organization or sport that you are involved in?”
- A scholarship will be given by the Satterlee family to a student they feel best meets the scholarship requirements.
- Paragraphs must be submitted to Mrs. Dieudonne via email [email protected] or by dropping off to the front office no later than Friday, April 25th to be entered.
Christian Tullis
Memorial Scholarship Fund Requirements
Application Window: March 18th - April 18th
- The Christian Tullis Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the memory of Christian Tullis who, in November 2022, was tragically killed in a car accident. Christian was just 16 years old.
- Christian was a member of the PJP football, basketball, and swim teams. He was a varsity letterman in all of these sports. Christian’s love for so many sports allowed him to excel at the highest level. Christian’s work ethic and love of volleyball earned him a chance to play college volleyball at Penn State.
Each year a $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a Pope John Paul II high school senior who is committed to play a college sport, to assist with costs in attending the college of their choice. To be considered for the Scholarship applicant must have committed and signed to play a college sport, at any level, Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, or junior college. - Awarding of the Christian Tullis Memorial Scholarship must include acceptance to and enrollment in a two- or four-year college, and a completion of the signing process.
- The Christian Tullis Memorial Scholarship award is an outright grant. That will be paid to the college or university of the winner.
- Applicants must submit a 3-paragraph essay answering the following:
“What is it that brought you to the decision to participate in college athletics?”
- A scholarship will be given by the Tullis family to a student they feel best meets the scholarship requirements.
