This course is designed for those students entering 8th grade who are not yet prepared to take Algebra I for high school credit. The primary focus for students in this course is developing logical reasoning by making and justifying generalizations based on their experiences with fundamental algebraic concepts, especially functional relationships and problem solving in real situations.
This course begins a students study of Algebra including: seeing structure in nonlinear equations, linear equations and inequalities, polynomials, relations and functions, rational expressions creating equations, and reasoning with equations and inequalities. The instructional program in this course provides for the use of algebraic skills in a wide range of problem-solving situations. This course provides the Algebra I skills needed for students to succeed on the ACT and college mathematics entrance exams.
This course covers all topics presented in Average Algebra I in even greater depth and a faster pace. Honors Algebra I dwells more heavily on theory, verbal and word problems.
This course includes developing advanced algebra skills such as systems of equations, advanced polynomials, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratics, matrices and their properties. More emphasis is placed on theory and verbal problems. This course provides the Algebra II skills needed for students to succeed on the ACT and college mathematics entrance exams. Prerequisite: Algebra I or Algebra I H.

This course includes the study of congruence, similarity, right triangles and trigonometry, circles, expressing geometric properties with equations, geometric measurement and dimension, and modeling with geometry. Algebra I skills are used throughout the course. This course provides the geometry skills needed for students to succeed on the ACT and college mathematics entrance exams. Prerequisite: Algebra I or Algebra I H.
This course covers all topics discussed in an average geometry class but at a deeper level and with more emphasis is placed on proofs and more complex exercises. Algebra I skills are used throughout the course. Prerequisite: Algebra I or Algebra I H.
The course includes topics from trigonometry such as the unit circle, trigonometric graphs, solving triangles and trigonometric equations. The course also covers many Algebra II topics in more depth. These include sequence and series, exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and rational functions. Prerequisite Algebra II & Geometry or Algebra II H & Geometry H.
Everything covered in regular Advanced Math will be covered in this course with more emphasis on theory and practical application. Prerequisite Algebra II & Geometry or Algebra II H & Geometry H.
