Who knew homecoming would bring such creativity and enthusiasm? PJP did!!!
All last week, students, staff and faculty brought their “A Game.” Monday’s “MATH-LETES vs. ATHLETES” day saw the likes of bow ties, suspenders, team jerseys, caps and more. On Tuesday, we were “seeing double” as Twin Day (or Character Day) was upon campus. Wednesday's “Decades Day” blazed campus with a very RETRO vibe as students and staff honored the 30’s, 50’s, 80’s (that’s the 1780’s - LOL) and more in poodle skirts, pilgrim bonnets, powdered wigs, leisure suits, and grunge-wear!! Thursday's “Clash of Colors” day - as always - did not disappoint, either. Each class donned their respective colors from top to toe; and battled for more spirit points at our evening pep rally. To close out the school week, on Friday, anyone who purchased also got to wear the homecoming t-shirt with spirit bottoms!! We thank everyone who came out in support the Jags as they battled against a tough Franklinton team at the homecoming game!!
Our homecoming court was presented at half-time and our 2021 queen, Mallory Norton, was announced at half-time. She was crowned by last year's queen, Kaitlyn Vidrine. Congratultations to her and her family! The court was again presented at Saturday's dance.
Many thanks to our beloved alumni who came out in droves to reunite and enjoy a great time by all on Friday evening.
Kudos to all those, from our student council, alumni and PTC who helped stage a fantastic week for all to enjoy on multiple levels.
